Reasonably easy to install, though instructions were confusing and not enough rubber insulation material. Extra parts that were not shown in installation instructions, but apparently not need, as unit fits tight in window.

easy to install. (Actually my daughter and her husband did it as I am in my mid +70's) instantly felt the cooling air when turning on. Higher SEER than our old one and also most of the ones I had seen on shopping. always trusted Frigidaire products.

Excellent little air conditioner! I really like that is 12.1 CEER and energy star rated... Blows Ice cold air. The eco mode is the best thing on the planet. Not only does it save energy between cycles, it prevents the room from turning into a high humidity swamp.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

This is my 2nd Frigidaire air conditioner. The 1st one lasted over 10 yrs and could've lasted longer had there been an auto temperature function to shut on and off. It just ran to the point if it not cooling anymore. This new model purchase has that function and we'll see how long it lasts. I love the remote control and variable settings.

I bought this ac unit to go in a bedroom on the warm end of my house that doesn™™t get good airflow from the central ac. My first impressions were that the box was smaller and lighter than I expected. It was very easy to take out of the box and set up. This thing is so small and looks sleek. l have the larger 10k BTU version and this one looks like a little baby version of the larger one, it™™s cute. I love how energy efficient it is, with its CEER rating of 12.1 the highest wattage I™™ve seen on my Killawatt meter 290-330 which is crazy low. It has a soft start compressor so it™™s very smooth/quiet when the compressor cycles on and off. That™™s also good Incase you ever needed to run this off a generator or inverter setup. The remote sensing feature is a huge plus too. It™™s accurate and it keeps the rooms temperature consistent within 3* of its set point, It works very well. Overall this is a great little window unit and I would definitely recommend it

Off Grid usage works great on small solar systems. I have 3 of these for off grid tinyhouses, eco mode is great at saving battery power and keeping things comfortable throughout the day and night. I™™m running two of these off a 2000watt pure sine wave inverter with no issues.

Gives off a sour smell. This unit does not have a drainage hole for the pan and says do not puncture. Only had a few months and the AC smells a very putrid smell. I will most likely have to buy something other than a Frigidaire. Very disappointed in quality of product.

I absolutely love this unit. It's amazing on electricity and holds up amazing to the California Mojave heat with days reaching upwards of 115° Fahrenheit. Since I bought this guy my quality of life has increased ten fold. This little guy kicks my swamp coolers butt.

I purchased this unit because of the low amp draw as I have an old house even 6 amps was to much. This unit is less than 4 amps and effectively cooling a 12X16 room without shutting down. The plan worked, very happy with the purchase.

I purchased the air condtioner from Amazon about a month ago. It worked fine for about 30 days and then it died. I tried to get Frididaire to fix or replace which proved difficult, so I leaned on Amazon give me a refund, which they did. That left me with a broken AC that my trach collector will not take away. I had seven days very hot weather waiting for Frididaire to deliver me a new AC which I had pay someone to install.

Since COVID days, I have been working remotely for my job, which means I spend half of my waking hours in my study/computer room and the door mostly closed during meetings.This is all typically well and good, however this room is at the farthest part of the house from the HVAC, so the strength of the cooling from my central AC is rather pitiful. During the summer months and even during warm spring weather, the room can get really stuffy and hot, especially with my computers running.I have tried various ways to try to remedy this, including a regular window fan. This season I decided to bite the bullet and try to find a window AC that is not loud enough to disrupt my conference calls, and also within my budget.Lo and behold, I found this AC -- works very well right out the gate, and comes with some decent insulation to cover the big gaping portions of the window. I did end up getting some more insulation to cover the sides, which also help with keeping bugs out.Placed on Low fan works well enough for me, and keeps the room very comfortable! I still yet have to see how this addition would affect my electric bill, but in reality this will only be running during summer months, and also the AC is not on all the time -- it comes on for 10-15 minutes or so and then turns back off just to maintain the temperature in the room.Definitely recommended for those that are in a similar situation as I am.

Cools ok but if you live in a humid climate like me you™™re going to hear lots of water gurgling noises all the time. Very annoying for sleep. Wish we had gotten a brand that has a drain plug.

Bought this unit for my bedroom and so far it works like a charm. Blows nice and cold and does exactly what it's designed to do. My only complaint is with the delivery (not Frigidaire's fault). UPS delivered it and the box had been hit on one side, denting part of the AC unit's housing. It still fit in the window and still works just fine, but the cosmetic damage was unfortunate. As far as the AC itself goes, I would definitely recommend it.

This AC does a fine job. I do have to set the temp for colder than I actually want in order to get it to cool to the temp I want. My main complaint, though, is that every time you push a button, there is a VERY loud beep, and there is no way to disable the beep (I know because I chatted with customer service and they confirmed that the only way to do that would be to disconnect the wire on the panel inside (or something like that), and they weren't able to provide anyone to talk me through that task). That beep is the loudest sound in the world when your infant is sleeping in the room!

Replaced a very old AC with a faulty compressor. The new Frigidaire was just what the Dr ordered.Its small and compact and fits the window perfectly. With the remote I can turn it on and off. Change the fan speedand turn the front panel lights off. It's perfect for my upstairs bedroom. I am very pleased with my purchase. I would buy it again.Thank you

Purchased this for an upstairs bedroom of approximately 200 square feet. Now we don™™t have to run our ancient central A/C system just to cool one room. Noise level is acceptable. Love the remote control. Super efficient.

Easy to install and works well. My only criticism is that you have to set it lower than the desired temperature, even though I™™m using it to cool a relatively small (8x10) room. But it still works well, and the remote control has great range

I have a small bedroom for this to cool. It definitely can do the job, but I have noticed that in eco mode it does let the temperature creep up several degrees which is not ideal.

I love this air conditioner, it cools my kitchen when needed and it very compact as I was looking for. The only thing is there is no drip hole on the bottom and I find it accumulates water on the top of the unit. Am I missing where the drip hole is?

What really is not to love about this window ac. It may be small but it packs a nice punch. It cools my sunroom with ease during the hottest summer days. I love that the filter is washable and the unit tells you when to clean it. I am also a huge fan of the "Eco" setting as it helps me save immensly in my energy bill. The window kit it came with is very snug and helps seal the outside nicely. The remote is also a huge blessing to have and has come in handy. I have always had great luck with Frigidiare appliances in the past. I am sure this one will last for many years to come.
