We have a big family & host many events at our home. Our new Maytag oven makes everyday cooking & baking and hosting special events so much easier & truly enjoyable! The inside of the oven is enormous, so we can bake several dishes at once! This oven also features a large window which is very useful for keeping an eye on things. The convection feature bakes cakes perfectly. The glass cooktop makes for easy cleanup. The overall ease of use & gorgeous appearance of our new Maytag oven makes our kitchen a nicer place to be. With several other ovens to choose from, this Maytag is a stand out & I would highly recommend it -- 5 stars aren't enough!

We bought this range about 10 days ago and it's really easy to use. We like the dials that require a slight push in to engage rather than a simple turn by accident. The controls are precise. Controls on the panel display require good push in and avoid mistakes that can be made with a light touch. Makes cleaning safer with whole lot less "beeping".
We hope to enjoy this wonderful Maytag product for many years just like our washing machine.

We love the new range and its features! I wish it preheated a little faster but it's something I can definitely live with. I love that it has a 10 year limited warranty after a competitor's range I had went kaput after 4 years. Looks nice and the quality is great!

Bought and installed myself. Have not had any problems with this range. My only problem is that the ceramic top shows all spilled food and fingerprints. I have had the opportunity to use all the features of this range without any problems.

It took me a while to realize the cooktop needs to be cleaned constantly. Bakes nicely, but it does not self-clean. You have to remove the racks & clean by hand. The little tray in the bottom almost cleans when you add water & set to "clean". You still need to scrub it along with the entire interior. The salesman said this was its best feature because it took less than an hour & didn't need the high temperatures. So disappointed!

Great change from gas to electric

I switched from gas to electric because my propane gas stove never performed like I needed it to. I was apprehensive to switch to a glass stove top based on my concerns about cleaning, scratches and stove top breakage.
What I love:
I was pleasantly surprised.
The stove checks off all of the features I was looking for (Convection, easy to clean, huge oven capacity, power preheat, stove top element sizes, aqualift self cleaning technology (no more fumes) and overall good looks. In all fairness, I did not use the self clean feature yet, but I'm expecting that I'll be satisfied.
Unexpected bonus: Home Canning can be performed on a glass smooth top cooking surface according to page 8 of my electric range user instructions book.
What I hate:
The stove drawer is extremely disappointing, or better described as CHEAP. I can't remove the drawer to clean under the stove. The drawer is tinny and has NO handle. Maytag, why did you cut costs on the drawer? You almost scored a 10. Very disappointing.

Has a good balance of the top end without the extreme price. The convection oven works great. The power eye heats up fast and I can sear the meat quickly and evenly. I have been pleased so far.

Pros: Good looks, smudge proof finish, large oven.
Cons: Cooking surface and frame gets very warm when using oven. I would not want a child touching it. Oven is slow to come up to temperature. Large burner is bigger than most pans. Bottom drawer is small and flimsy. The size is due to the larger oven. Warranty plaque is cheap looking. Removed it by heating it with a hair dryer.
Note: Have not used convection or self cleaning for evaluation.

We bought this oven to replace another Maytag that had reached the end of its life at 15 years. This new oven is fantastic in the amount of space it offers. We do a fair amount of baking and the oven is steady, functional, and offers a lot of arrangement options for its three racks. The stovetop is durable and easy to clean and the quick heat element makes boiling water for pasta a cinch!
Very happy with the purchase.

I like the large glass on the oven door and I like that the top of the oven door is recessed and therefore spills from the cooktop can't get between the glass.

This is my first range with convection and I absolutely love it!!!!!! The large heavy duty oven rack that is included is perfect for my large pans. Another thing that is nice is the warming settings. I recomend this wonderful oven and electric stove top!

I have been using the stove for about 2 months and there are a couple things about it that bug me. First, the oven does not cook at the normal time things should be done by. I've used the convection setting, which I have used on other manufactures and it cooked at the suggested time or faster. The Maytag convection setting is slow, still cooking things for an extra 5-10min. There is a temperature adjust feature used to adjust the oven to bake hotter. I've tried that and it still isn't great. The second thing that bugs me is the biter sizes. There is no good medium sized burner. One xl, one lg, and 3 sm. I need to get a new xl skillet just to be able to cook basic meals.
Positives: the oven light actually works and you can see through the glass really well.

I bought this range approximately 18 months ago. This has proved to be a lemon. The only feature that seems to work properly is the power boil feature on the right front burner. The oven heats unevenly and burns in the back and food in the front does not cook fully, therefore having to rotate and flip food. Very disappointed in Maytag for this oven. No features on the size of the other burners, the left is either very large or very small. This is not a high end range, but it's the highest that Maytag offers in a single oven electric.

The range/oven is only 5 years old and this would be the second time it would need repaired. We replaced the heating element in the oven last year and now the 'control panel' has failed. Since the control panel part would be $350, it doesn't seem reasonable to fix it. I don't think it is unreasonable to expect an appliance to last more than 5 years. Very disappointed in Maytag.

We purchased this range with the entire Maytag kitchen line up ,(Fridge, microwave and dishwasher).The exterior oven temperature around the top front edge over the door reaches 143 degs when the oven alone is on set at 350 degs.This heat follows around the sides at over 120 degs! Maytag had AtoZ come out and look at the range. He said it is the door vent design, which vents at the top of the door, that is heating the top edge of the stove. Maytag said that it is allowed to have a temperature of 168 degs! The stove also makes a metallic popping noise while heating and using the oven.

I was surprised that this oven pre heated as fast as it did. Other reviews said it took up to 30 minutes to reach temperature. Not true. Took about 15 minutes which I think is normal. The only issue I have, was stated in an earlier review, is that the drawer on the bottom has a sharp edge the could cut up when opening the drawer if your not careful. Other than that I'm pleased.

Upgraded from a builder's model Kenmore to this stove, what a jump. It is a very nice range and oven. The convection oven is a nice feature. The huge size of oven is great, with the 3 shelves being useful. Buttons are a little confusing, but seem to work OK.
